     The  body  of  this 
piece is square, with 
broad sloping shoulders 
and smaller base and 
cover.  A  peony decor in 
polychrome enamels is 
set  against  a  yellow 
background. The K'ang-hsi 
reign-mark is inscribed 
on the base in red using 
regular script.
